The Crow movie reboot 2024 directed by Rupert Sanders is the very first one after the tragic death of Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee, in an unfortunate on-set mishap on set of the same movie in 1994. He was shot while filming a scene by a co actor from a prop gun that had portion of a dummy bullet inadverdently left inside it from a scene previously being shot. The unfortunate incident left everyone a part of the production in immense shock and dread.
The shooting of The Crow film discontinued after this tragedy until director Alex Proyas decided Brandon Lee had worked very hard in the film and it would be wrong by him to not continue filming some last scenes and release The Crow film Brandon Lee.
Based on a comic written by James O’Barr, he wrote the comic shortly after his girlfriend was killed by a drunk driver before they got married. Alex Proyas called James when casting Eric and they loved Lee instantly making him perfect for the role.
Actual story of The Crow film
The Crow movie reboot is a dark, gothic tale that has etched itself into the annals of cult cinema. It tells the haunting story of Eric Draven, a rock musician who, after being brutally murdered alongside his fiancée, is resurrected by a mysterious crow. Driven by vengeance and fueled by an unstoppable, supernatural force, Eric embarks on a relentless quest to hunt down the gang responsible for their deaths.
Eric being played by Bill Skarsgard this time and a remake coming after almost 30 years of the tragedy people think it may outplay the original of 1994 but we still think no other rendition could have the effect like that with Brandon Lee as the lead.
The Crow film reboot was released in theatres on 23rd of August.
