Christopher Nolan’s next possible masterpiece, ideally, is The Odyssey after making Oppenheimer a global Oscar winning triumph.
The Odyssey will be the first time IMAX movie screens will feature a retelling of Homer’s story.

As everyone is aware, Nolan has been fixated by IMAX since eternity and has produced his previous three movies employing the finest resolution film cameras.

Nolan has not disclosed the precise specifics of the newly created technology meant for “The Odyssey.” But earlier this month, he told The Associated Press they are now undertaking intense testing with IMAX to prepare for production.
“They have an incredible engineering staff, really brilliant brains doing amazing work,” Nolan remarked. “It’s fantastic to see invention in the celluloid film arena still happening and happening at the highest level possible.”

Following the triumph of “Oppenheimer, which grossed almost $1 billion worldwide and won Nolan his first Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Picture,” Christopher Nolan’s next picture, “The Odyssey,” marks his second collaboration with Universal Pictures.

There has been a lot of conjecture regarding his future project; many ideas about the plot have surfaced none of which have been verified.

Universal has not formally confirmed any names, even if many sources indicate different actors are linked to the cast.

Though rumors abound that Christopher Nolan’s next actor after Oppenheimer might be Matt Damon or Tom Holland.

The Odyssey is based on Homer’s legendary ancient Greek epic poem of the same name, although particular elements of Christopher Nolan’s next work’s plot remain unknown.

Odysseus is followed in the narrative on his ten-year journey back to Ithaca following the Trojan War. Along the way, he faces several challenges including divine intervention and legendary animals.

His wife Penelope and son Telemachus fight their own battles against relentless suitors believing Odysseus is dead back in Ithaca.

Considered among the foundations of Western literature, The Odyssey was written in the eighth century BC. Renowned for his creative narrative and complex stories, Nolan is supposed to offer a fresh and captivating vision to this great story.
