After making Oppenheimer a worldwide Oscar winning success, Christopher Nolan’s next potential masterpiece hopefully is rumoring to be The Odyssey.
The Odysseywill be the first time that an adaptation of Homer’s saga will play on IMAX film screens.
As everyone knows Nolan has been obsessed with IMAX since forever and has made his last three films using the best resolution film cameras.
Nolan hasn’t revealed the exact details of the new technology being developed for “The Odyssey.” However, earlier this month, he mentioned to The Associated Press that they are currently undergoing rigorous testing with IMAX to gear up for the production.
He says, “They have an incredible engineering staff, really brilliant minds doing extraordinary work,” Nolan said. “It’s wonderful to see innovation in the celluloid film arena still happening and happening at the highest level possible.”
Christopher Nolan next film, “The Odyssey,” marks his second partnership with Universal Pictures after the success of “Oppenheimer,” which grossed close to $1 billion globally and earned Nolan his first Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Picture.
Speculation about his next project has been rampant, with countless theories about the storyline emerging none of which have been validated.
Although numerous reports suggest various actors are attached to the cast, Universal has yet to officially confirm any names.
Although we may have a slight rumor that Christopher Nolan next cast after Oppenheimer might include Matt Damon and Tom Holland.

While specific details about Christopher Nolan next piece’s storyline remain undisclosed, The Odyssey is adapted from Homer’s iconic ancient Greek epic poem of the same name.
The story follows Odysseus on his arduous 10-year voyage back to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Along his journey, he confronts countless obstacles, including mythical creatures and divine interference.
Back in Ithaca, his wife, Penelope, and son, Telemachus, face their own struggles as they fend off persistent suitors who believe Odysseus is no longer alive.
Written in the 8th century BC, The Odyssey is regarded as one of the cornerstones of Western literature. Known for his inventive storytelling and intricate narratives, Nolan is expected to bring a unique and compelling vision to this legendary tale.
