Beetlejuice 2 continues the wacky, off-kilter world created by Tim Burton in his 1988 cult classic. Beatle juice 2 Michael Keaton reprises his role as the rogue bio-exorcist ghost, ensuring that we’ll get to see even more off-kilter antics and spectral shenanigans. The movie picks up years after the events of the original film, with Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) now a grown-up. Her daughter becomes a part of the supernatural world, which is taken by Jenna Ortega. Ortega is an ideal choice for the cast since she has a natural affinity for gothic and dark characters, as seen in her performance of Wednesday Addams in the popular series Wednesday. Ortega’s character will bring a new dimension to the film while keeping its spooky and funny tone from the original.

Beetlejuice 2 will delve into this war of the living against the dead, perhaps with Lydia’s family and Beetlejuice’s return. Some of the original characters will be back, including Miss Argentina Beetlejuice (the strange, green-skinned receptionist from the Netherworld), who will surely receive more screen time this time. Beetlejuice meme moments will be aplenty as the movie will welcome the absurdity and mayhem that made the first one famous.

Compared to the original Beetlejuice, we would hope that the same darkly comedic tone would transfer, but perhaps with a new twist. Newer players such as Jenna Ortega add a youthful energy and edginess, so hopefully the sequel will be enjoyed by new fans as well as by those older fans of the series. Visually, the Tim Burton surrealist aesthetic should transfer, but with new special effects and a still deeper exploration into the bizarre, supernatural realm.

Beatle juice 2 Michael Keaton is the biggest draw here by far, and rightfully so. His work in the original film is one of the most iconic performances ever, and it appears that he’ll be bringing that same kind of anarchic spirit to the sequel. He’ll be working alongside both Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega, and it will likely create a fascinating dynamic between the old and new guard of the Beetlejuice clan. There’s also plenty of potential for some excellent Beetlejuice meme moments out of Keaton’s shenanigans in this new outing, although he’s said to have extremely limited screen time, which he asked for himself.

Beetlejuice 2 stars beatle juice 2 Michael Keaton and Jenna Ortega, with Winona Ryder reprising her role as Lydia Deetz. Justin Theroux and Catherine O’Hara also feature, both with comedy and drama in the family dynamics that make up the heart of the movie.

And as for the Beetlejuice 2 trailer, yes indeed it does exist and promises to be a combination of horror and slapstick. Michael Keaton is back to cackle madly and wreak havoc in the world above and below. Miss Argentina Beetlejuice deals with even more preposterous bureaucracy and we get a glimpse at Jenna Ortega being drawn into the strange world her mother was trying to shield her from. Beetlejuice 2 trailer gives us a good dose of nostalgia and new darkly humorous moments.

What makes Beetlejuice 2 so fascinating to watch is that it appears that it has all of the fun of the first but also includes some contemporary influences to make it appealing to the generation today. With a great cast that features Jenna Ortega’s clear charm and the return of Michael Keaton, this sequel has all it takes to be a success and get people falling in love with one of Tim Burton’s greatest characters. We can’t wait to see what new Beetlejuice meme moments we can create from this highly awaited sequel.
