Inside out 2 has been released recently and the only trending question that has been circulating around is that “Can I watch inside out 2 without watching 1?”. Generally watching previous parts of a movie is not absolutely important to understand the plot unless it’s a part of a very long and famous series like Harry Potter or The hunger Games. But make sure to not share this ideology with a movies enthusiast for they would have to report you for committing a crime if you even ask them this question or worse, tell them you have watched the second part of a movie without watching the first one.

Although not very important to watch the first part for understanding the plot, it is still suggested to watch the first part of inside out 2 before watching the second one as it will help in understanding the movie better and would make it much more fun for there might be multiple relating points and scenes in the movie that you might not catch up to without watching the first movie.

Does the sequel continue the story?

Inside out 2 is basically about the life of a girl Riley who turns 13 (11 in the first part), basically a teenager and starts to develop a new set of emotions that teenage brings with itself. A lot different than the first set of emotions that she developed in the first movie after she was forced to relocate with her family. The reason behind everyone loving the movie is the nostalgia inside out 2 brings for adults about their time of experiencing new emotions and presently learning to handle them too and of course for the younger ones its just another hour and a half filled with chuckles.
