Pixar has been a big part of our lives and an even greater part of the movie industry. Some of the best movies ranked from top to bottom that pixar released and have emotional attachments with millennials and gen-z are Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Inside out, Up and God knows many more. These movies have immense emotional attachment with the millennials specifically being their childhood movies in fact if we think about it the attachment is all related to the pixar movie characters more than the movies themselves. Its even more exciting finding out another part of their childhood movies being made.
Pixar world has an exciting line up prepared for us in the coming years and we already cant wait to have our hands on all of them. The upcoming pixar movies 2026 include Toy story 5, Moana’s live action adaptation Frozen 3, Incredibles 3 and many more.
The exact details of Toy Story 5 remain under wraps for now. Nevertheless, it’s been announced that Buzz Lightyear and Woody, despite parting ways at the end of Toy Story 4, will reunite in the upcoming film. While not officially confirmed, rumors suggest that Andrew Stanton might be at the helm, even though he hasn’t directed a Pixar feature since Finding Dory. However we do now that the movie is ging to be rleased on 18th of June, 2026. According to Variety “Disney CEO Bob Iger first confirmed that a sequel was in the works back in February 2023, along with new installments in the “Frozen” and “Zootopia” franchises.”
The most exciting addition in the list of upcoming pixar movies 2026 is the live action adaptation of Moana the animated movie 2016. After Moana the animated movie we cant wait to see what the live action adaptation will be like. What we know about the cast is that Catherine Laga‘aia will be voyaging to Motunui and beyond as the adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people, John Tui will be playing Maui (Moana’s father), Frankie Adams as Moana’s mother and Rena Owen as Moana’s grandmother.
Fans are really hoping to not get disappointed by the live adaptation of one of their favourites of the Pixar world.
