Dear Santa movie making a come back after almost 14 years

Has that time of the year arrived? Can we officially start sitting back and binging Christmas movies all day cozy in our blankets with crazy amount of junk food? Because after Red One we have a rather interesting edition in the Christmas movies list this time and that’s the Dear Santa movie.
If you’re old enough you would know there was another Christmas movie made back in 2011 with the same name. It was the dear santa 2011 movie. The dear santa 2011 movie was soft romance family movie for Christmas that was sweet like all the Christmas treats.
Dear santa movie was about a woman finding a young girl’s letter to santa wanting to be with her dead mother and how much she missed her especially on her favorite holiday Christmas. The woman decides to fulfill the girls wish (not bringing back her mother no this isn’t Bollywood) wanting to get to know the father and being with him as well. However, she’s met with a hurdle which is the father’s ex girlfriend that decides to re-enter his life.
It’s unfortunate how it was maybe too good to exist in its own time. Dear santa 2011 movie definitely did not get the attention and appreciation it deserved at that time. Although, multiple reviews said otherwise.

This year’s dear santa movie however is nothing like the dear santa 2011 movie. Starring Jack Black and Ben Stiller together after such a long time Dear Santa movie cast could not have been more interesting.
Dear Santa movie 2024 is also about a young child but has a complete different story. Dear Santa movie is about a young boy who sends his wishes to Santa but the poor boys’ dyslexia leads him to summon satan instead.
Dear Santa movie 2024 was released on 25th November and has had quite a mixed batter of reviews since then. The phenomenal acting, direction and dear santa movie cast aside, critics seem to think making a comedy movie about a serious mental condition that many kids go through and because of which have difficulty leading life was insensitive.
However, in my opinion, people need to realize it’s a Christmas comedy for kids and teaches them a lot as well. And besides this the condition was in no way made fun of in the movie but rather shown consequences of having.
Audience needs to grow up and learn to let loose and a little to enjoy life and not make every little thing an issue for no apparent reason because Dear santa movie sounds like a great movie witch great acting and seeing it not get the required attention is just sad for the amazing Dear santa movie cast and the makers who have done a commendable job.
