Sony announces a special 30th Anniversary of PlayStation Collection!

PlayStation has finally completed its good 30 years and it is definitely an occasion of celebration. We would have not expected anything less than what Sony just announced to give its PlayStation users on the 30th anniversary of PlayStation.

Sony Announced a special collection on ps5 and ps5 pro to come out on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of playstation even after the very recent release of the ps5 pro. 

Many think its not going to work out as people are not going to go for a special anniversary collection than the actual collection of ps5 pro but Sony does not come slow. The collection being introduced resembles the very first one that came out in 1994 making it highly nostalgic for its very first users. It consists of a PlayStation 5 Pro console, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition gaming console, PlayStation Portal, and DualSense Edge Wireless Controller. All in a light shade of grey with a multi-coloured PlayStation logo that are reminiscent of the first-generation PlayStation gaming console.

Sony has announced that the 30th Anniversary of PlayStation Collection will launch on November 21, alongside a limited release of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. Only 12,300 units of this special edition console will be produced, each featuring a unique limited edition number engraved on the device.

Regarding availability, Sony stated that pre-orders for the 30th Anniversary of Play Station Collection will start on September 26 in regions where PlayStation Direct operates. However, there is no confirmation on whether these products will be available in India. The company has also yet to disclose the pricing details for this special edition console which by the looks of it seems like will be higher than the original collection considering its specialty.
